We offer a wide variety of free programming to all ages and groups. Available programming includes, but is not limited to: water quality, stream surveys, acid mine drainage (AMD) field trips, conservation practices, riparian zone establishment, tree plantings, pollution, invasive species, urban stormwater, pollinator gardens, the water cycle, etc. All programming is led by the Watershed Specialist. stream study HCCD is proud to host and manage the Huntingdon County Envirothon Competition, designed to encourage local high school students to learn about and engage in their environment. The winning team attends the Pennsylvania State Envirothon Competition. More information about the Envirothon can be found here. In need of grant money to carry out environmental education programming? Contact the Watershed Specialist to learn about a grant for up to $3k offered annually by  the Department of Environmental Protection.
